A soup made from tamarind broth flavoured with pineapple, tomatoes, chilli, okra, beansprouts, fried garlic and spring onions (US: scallions, salad onions), coriander (US: cilantro) and other herbs and spices. It may then have added to it prawns or chicken of beef.
Chinese bellfower. A plant of the Campanula family indigenous to South East Asia. In Korea, where the root, either dried or fresh, is often used in salads, gimchi and the like, it is more commonly found with white bells than with the blue bells found elsewhere.

Pangasius sanitwonsei. A catfish which can grow to 3 meters length, but more usually found at just over a meter. It is less useful in cooking than many of its relations, being high in fat.
