A medium-sized, pale green dessert pear with melting, juicy flesh and good flavour. They turn yellow as they riopen, sometimes developing a pink flush. A cross between Conference and Doyenne du Comice, this pear was raised in 1977 at East Malling and is a reliable, heavy-cropping variety which is self-fertile. It keeps well.
