"Needle." Garfish. A striking, beaked, marine fish up to 60 cm (2 ft) long, with a backbone which turns bright green on cooking and a delicious flavour, found on most European coasts. It is also puff pastry, and semi-sweet when applied to wine.
Black-tailed godwit, A tall wader with a long, straight bill. It has a broad white wing bar and a bold black band on a snow white tail. Eaten in the same way as woodcock.
