White domecap mushroom. A mushroom that appears in autumn (US: fall) and which may be eaten but is not particularly desirable. It is found growing in the grass in dense woodlands.

Kiwano. A strange-looking egg-shaped fruit. The mouthfuls of cool cucumbery seeds are enclosed in a spiky, warty, green or reddish-yellow skin. It is eaten by halving it and scooping out the seeds.
Bael fruit; a close relative of the citrus. The fruit is about the size of, and has the appearance of a greyish-yellow orange with a thin woody rind. The floury pulp is pale orange in colour and has numerous seeds. Dried slices are soaked and boiled and the resulting liquid sweetened and drunk. Used for medicinal purposes.
