Bullhead. Miller's thumb. The bullhead is a small variety of catfish with a large head, weighing not more than 450 g (1 lb). It has firm flesh with a mild flavour. The skin must be removed before cooking as it is tough and inedible. Bullheads are versatile as they can be poached, grilled, steamed or used in soups and stews.

White domecap mushroom. A mushroom that appears in autumn (US: fall) and which may be eaten but is not particularly desirable. It is found growing in the grass in dense woodlands.

Garlic bread, usually toasted.

Garlic butter

A pale variety of grisette. A slender mushroom of the amanite family with a pale grey, ribbed cap, mild scent and flavour. It must be eaten well cooked or it will cause gastro -intestinal problems.
