"Cooked cream." Fresh cream, sweetened, combined with gelatine, moulded with burnt sugar like a crème brûlée.
"My Granny's cream." Cream custard served for dessert, flavoured with citron. I have also seen this as 'Granny's cream soup', a basic soup cooked with care and likely to contain tomatoes and potatoes, with flavourings of seasonal fresh green vegetables such as beans or spinach, served with grated cheese.
"Rose hip fruit cream." Rose hips from the wild dog rose made into rose hip jelly. Wonderful with roast goose.
