Beef bourguignonne. Topside of beef cubed and then cooked in red wine with belly pork, small onions and mushrooms.

A dry white wine from the Chianti region of Tuscany.

A DOC Valtellina Superiore red wine from Lombardy, Valgella is made from Chiavennasca grapes (the local name for Nebbiolo) and is not dissimilar to Barolo.

High quality Ligurian extra virgin olive oil from Ardoino, with a very delicate aroma of lemons and almonds in particular. Not aggressive and with very little pepper.
