Altenburger Ziegenkäse

A flat disc of soft cheese made with goat’s milk and flavoured with caraway seeds. It has a creamy paste and a white rind. It is made Thüringia in central Germany. This cheese contains 20% fat (total). It may be found in the following dimensions: 11.5 cm (4½ ") diameter, weighing 250 g (9 oz). (PDO).

Pike-perch or zander. It is a river fish with delicate flavour.
