Parasol mushroom. Good baked with butter and garlic, or fried.
A large, roundish pear. Skin is yellow with a greenish tinge, speckled and russeted, sometimes with a red blush. Flesh is soft, creamy white, very juicy, fragrant and full-flavoured. Best eaten as a raw dessert pear or with blue cheese.
