A supple, small drum of mild, creamy cow's milk cheese with a pinkish-red rind made at the Abbey of Chambarand in Dauphiné by Trappiste monks. Best from June to February.
A firm and supple cow's milk cheese with a strong fruit taste, similar to St Paulin. It is a thick disc with a yellowish-brown skin made on farms.

Chambéry vermouth is a speciality of eastern France made near the town of Chambéry in the Savoie. Light and refreshing when mixed with tonic, lemonade or spring waters, best served chilled. It is also the capital of Savoy.
