A large, originally Japanese apple called Mutsu, with greenish golden skin sometimes flushed with orange, a cross between Golden Delicious and Indo, since 1948. It gained its English name in 1968. It has crisp, firm white flesh, agreeably tart, and they store well. It is a triploid, which means that it is a poor pollinator and is a late-season apple, harvested from mid-October in South-East England and is at its best from December to February. When cooked it retains its shape but is most useful in salads.

An all-purpose variety of apple with yellowish-green skin with a distinctive reddish-pink blush and tart, juicy flesh. Cromer, in the north of Norfolk, on the cold waters of the North Sea, is where the Cromer crab, a small brown crab, is named for. Around May they are their very best, succulent and sweet. It is the edible brown crab, common in British waters, but are subject to smaller Minimum Landing Sizes, at 115 mm (4.5 in), rather than the 140 mm (5.5 in) dictated in most the of the range. It is illegal to land female crabs in berry and it is felt that the edible brown crab is probably overfished in British waters, though most are exported live to France and Spain.
