Judas's ear fungus, often found dried. Dried or fresh they should not be fried, as they explode, but stewed with other ingredients.
A sour mustard pickle. It contains mustard and mustard oil, lemon juice and sour green mango and is traditionally served with freid bitter greens, gourds or rice.
The katla is a variety of carp or buffalo fish with a large protruding lower jaw and with a more pronounced hump than the rohu. It is found in rivers and freshwater lakes in India, Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
