Clabbered milk or longmilk. Milk, mixed with a little soured cream (US: cultured sour cream), which has been left to stand in a warm place until it has set. It is usually served with sugar, sprinkled with ginger and cinnamon and present with knäckebröd or ginger snaps.
Pestle puffball. A type of mushroom not generally considered to be edible but can be eaten when young.
Grenadier or rat-tail; a long, tapering, ash grey marine fish found up to 90 cm (36") long, deep in the Atlantic. Not a very attractive fish and difficult to skin and fillet, so good in soups.
