A sort of Arabic shortbread made of flour, sugar, milk, and nuts, now common throughout Andalusia and much of the Spanish speaking world, including the Philippines.

A bowl or punch bowl and the punch served in it. Ponche is a traditional hot fruit punch, made with tejocote, which is served at Christmas time and on New Year's Eve.

"Milk punch." Hot punch made with milk, chopped almonds, beaten egg yolks, sugar and brandy flavoured with vanilla.
