Pilot fish. A distinctive, striped fish of the Mediterranean where it is mainly found around the Balearics and Malta. It is good for either grilling or poaching, having firm white flesh.
Norway haddock. Redfish. A short, thick-bodied marine fish up to 25 cm (10 inches) long. It is found in the North Atlantic. It has an orange-red skin and delicately flavoured white flesh.
Largehead hairtail or beltfish. In fact, I think this looks more as though it should be the scabbard fish.
The sailfish is a mighty fish of Indo-Pacific waters. The first dorsal fin is greatly enlarged and held aloft in the form of a sail. It is edible but is primarily a game fish.
Flying fish. Not much eaten, but either fried or grilled when caught.
