"Skin of the toad." A variety of melon with creamy yellow flesh and quite dark olive green skin marked with broken yellow lines.
Dried sugar cane syrup or unrefined sugar, light tan to dark brown in colour. It comes in a hard brick or truncated cone which is scraped or grated to provide a sweetener for many recipes.
