This is a "half", un demi, of draught beer (pression). In this instance the "half" is a glass of beer, just over half a pint (25 cl).
Medium dry. Often applied to wines. It means sweetish when applied to champagne, with up to 6% sugar.
A small, square, soft, fresh, spreadable cow's milk cream cheese, originally from Normandy, now made all over France. It is generally wrapped in foil and is good for desserts as it is low in salt.
Parasol mushroom. Good baked with butter and garlic, or fried.
Dublin Bay prawns. Norway lobsters. These are like small, elongated lobsters, pale pink when cooked, with long, narrow claws and a delicious flavour. Often cooked in court-bouillon.
