"Sea pig." Triggerfish. A brightly coloured Mediterranean fish, more common in the southern Mediterranean than than the northern. It must be skinned before cooking as the skin is very tough.
Pork products. Charcuterie. This is often an assortment of sausages and/or pâtés served as a first course.
"Prawn cocktail." Cooked prawns cooled and placed in a glass, coated with cocktail or marie rose sauce and served with a slice of lemon.
"Lobster cocktail." Diced boiled lobster placed into glasses and coated with cocktail sauce, served with lemon.
