Anise hyssop hyssop. A small shrub which produces leaves with a flavour reminiscent of strong thyme. Popular in the United States where it is used to make tea, and to add to salads, drinks and in savoury dishes.
An indeterminate variety of cherry tomato 1 cm (3/8") diameter, grown outdoors or in greenhouses, producing very tasty yellow fruits on heavily laden, long trusses on this rangy plant late in the season.

Chayote. Custard marrow. A Central American food plant, it is a bulbous, pear-shaped gourd which grows on a vine, with pale green, ridged skin and about the size of an avocado. It is a bland vegetable, somewhat like a cucumber in flavour, with a little spice when fresh. It should be treated in the same way as vegetable marrow or aubergine (US: eggplant) and, like them, should be cooked before eating. In Mexico it is often diced or sliced and then steamed or poached, after which it is added to soups or salads, though it may be served as an accompaniment to meat dishes or as a dessert. Leaves and shoots are also edible when young.
The mirror carp is so called because of its large reflective scales and is found in the UK and Europe growing up to They can grow in excess of 60lb (27 kg) in weight. Not generally eaten though it is thought they may originally have been bred for their scales as they were easier to prepare for the table.
A deep purple variety of fig named after the Mission fathers who planted it along the coast of California. It dries to black and has a luscious flavour.
