Galway oyster

A prized variety of small, flat, white-fleshed, sweet native oyster cultivated in the river of the same name in Brittany, defined by its size. They are round with a brownish-green shell. Now being raised in the US. These are the same as the Belon oysters.

gannet

These birds dive from a great height to fish, plummeting towards the sea as they draw their wings in against their bodies. The young of the gannet are treated as a Christmas delicacy in the some parts of the Outer Hebrides in Scotland, where they are called guga.
