One of the oldest cultivated (cherry) tomato varieties in Europe dating from 1805 and possibly from the 1600's, it has small pear-shaped fruit. These are sweet and juicy, with not much flavour but it would be worth growing them just for their colour and shape alone. They are a clear sunny yellow, low in acid and delightfully flavoured. Indeterminate with open habit, the plant is prolific, with consistent production throughout the season.
