A well-known, rich red wine produced in the Sienna region Tuscany, based on Sangiovese grapes. It is usually good value. (DOC). A cerasuolo and Vin Santo is made in the same region Vino Nobile di Montepulciano should be aged for two years. After three years it may be called "riserva" and after four "riserva speciale".
