vino d'uva

/VEE-noh DOO-vah/
[Italian] plural vini d'uva

"Grape wine." This seems obvious, but it is a term used often for home-made wines or wines of a definite and known provenance. "Grape wine" indicates that they know that it is made with grapes, rather than all the other rubbish which they assume goes into wines from large producers or co-operatives. It is often good.
