Trentino-Alto Adige is a large wine producing region in north eastern Italy comprising the provinces of Trento and Bolzano. Much of the food of this region is heavily infuenced by Austria and this is reflected by the presence of dishes of strudel, pork, and rich desserts like Kastanientorte.
