Stayman Winesap apple

A variety of eating apple which is a cross between Red Delicious and Winesap and being predominantly red over yellow and with juicy, crisp, tart flesh. It was raised by Dr J Stayman in Leavenworth in Kansas in 1866 and introduced commercially by Stark Bros of Missouri.
