A variety of red flushed eating apple which is also good for juicing. It was raised by Mr HF Ermen at Faversham in Kent in 1975 as a cross between Discovery and Kent and introduced commercially by FWT Matthews in Worcester. This late-season variety is harvested from late September in South-East England and is at is best from Octonber to December.
