The pink cuttlefish is often confused with Sepia elegans and is a cuttlefish with distinct lateral wings and very prominent spice. It is found in the Eastern Atlantic ocean from the southern North Sea, though rarely, to northern Namibia (Africa); including Mediterranean Sea, usually at a depth of fro m 150 to 300 m. Males have a mantle length up to 96 mm (4”); females up to 120 mm (5”).
