A thimble-sized glass of pastis is called a momie; mixed with grenadine it is called a tomate; mixed with orgeat it is called a mauresque; with mint it is known as a perroquet. Pastaga refers to a large pastis mixed with water and ice. Well known brand names include Ricard, Pernod and Pastis.
