"Moustaches." Sweet almond biscuits (US: cookies) which look a bit like rock cakes, rough in shape with orange peel and almonds, sometimes dried fruits, sticking out through the slightly spicy dough. These may be covered in chocolate, though the ones we ate in Assisi, mostaccioli di San Francesco, were not.
