Marizol Purple tomato

An indeterminate heirloom variety of tomato from the Black Forest region of Germany and brought to the United States in the 1880s, It is a prolific producer of large beefsteak fruits weighing around 250-500 g (8-16 oz), deep pinkish-purple in colour with a purple tinge late in the season. The plants are disease-resistant.
