Grange's Pearmain apple

A variety of flushed blushed, striped all-purpose apple raised some time prior to 1829 by James Grance at Kingsland in Middlesex but introduced commercially by Dickson's of Chester. This late-season variety is harvested from early to mid-October in South-East England and is at its best from November to December. Retains its shape when cooked.
