"Little nobleman." Fatima Santos tells me that this is a traditional biscuit (US: cookie), some saying it goes back a few centuries to the times when Braga was an important Sanctuary and an obligatory stop for the Pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. It is an all year round tea-time biscuit.
