Exchequer Leghorn chicken

[English] plural Exchequer Leghorn chickens

The Exchequer Leghorn breed of chicken was developed within a Leghorn flock by Mr. Robert Miller of Scotland between 1905 and 1907 and introduced in 1907. It is considered a rare breed in the United States It matures early and high white egg production. They are highly gregarious hens as can be seen in this picture of these three who rapidly came to investigate me when I visited their farmyard.
