Corsica is the anglicised name for Corse, a French Mediterranean island. It consists of two departments, Corse du Sud and Haute-Corse. Red, white and rosé wines made in Corsica are known as Vin de Corse, with the added names of Patrimonio, Coteaux de Cap Corse, Calvi, (Coteaux d’) Ajaccio, Figari-Porto-Vecchio and Sartène.
