arroz de marisco

/uh-ROHSH deu mah-REESH-koosh/
[Portuguese] plural arroz de mariscos

A soupy dish of rice mixed with various shellfish, particularly clams, and tomatoes. We ate a most delicious arroz de marisco at the "Club Naval" at Belem, where membership did not seem to be an issue and where there was no menu, but the cooking was perfect.
