A cocktail consisting of 22 ml (¾ fl oz) Campari, 22 ml (¾ fl oz) Italian sweet vermouth, soda or sparkling water to taste, 1 slice orange or lemon. Stir well in an Old Fashioned glass loaded with ice cubes. Garnish with an orange slice. The French version contains red wine. It also describes a French vermouth.
