Acme apple

A variety of striped, crisp, juicy dessert apple raised in 1944 by Seabrook & Sons in Boreham, Essex, and having Worcester Pearmain, Rival and Cox's Orange Pippin as antecedents. It is a late-season apple harvested from mid-September in South-East England, is stored, and is at its best between November to December.
