Roast rib(s). This is usually roast spare ribs served wth a sweet and sour cabbage stew and boiled potatoes traditionally served at Christmas. It may also be served at part of a koldtbord.
Soused herrings. Salted herrings fried, marinated in vinegar with bay leaves and allspice and decorated with onion rings and chives.
Pestle puffball. A type of mushroom not generally considered to be edible but can be eaten when young.
