A variety of sea anemone called beadlet. They are usually brown to green, but can be red. The tentacles are removed and they are then turned inside out for cleaning. The walls of the body cavity are cut into pieces, dipped in batter and fried or used in soups.
Fly agaric. A type of mushroom, the classic red with white spots. Famous for its psychoactive hallucinogenic properties this is the magic mushroom and is actually poisonous to eat.
A dialect name for the St George's mushroom. A small white or cream mushroom that appears in parts of Europe around St George's Day on 23rd April.
