A native variety of grape from which white wines are made. Furmit and Harsevelu are used in Australian Tokay wines and as a small proportion of Sauternes, and a major grape in Monbazillac.

Guar gum is made from the ground endosperm of guar beans and is used as a thickener and stabiliser in the food industry. It has the E-number E412.
