Fly agaric. A type of mushroom, the classic red with white spots. Famous for its psychoactive hallucinogenic properties this is the magic mushroom and is actually poisonous to eat.
Atherine, Mediterranean silverside or sandsmelt. A common Mediterranean marine fish, usually deep-fried, it is a small, silvery fish similar to the argentine. When tiny it is treated in the same way as whitebait.
Beef cut. Taken from the eye of the sirloin, this is a very tender and expensive roasting joint. Can also be cut into steaks - sirloin, porterhouse, club, sirloin roast or T-bone.
The fairy ring mushroom with white flesh and a pleasing taste. These dry well and have good flavour but must be cooked first.
