Guar gum is made from the ground endosperm of guar beans and is used as a thickener and stabiliser in the food industry. It has the E-number E412.

Milk cap fungus. Outi Rantanen tells me that she gathers this and that it is edible but should be cooked for ten minutes before eating.

Fork biscuits (US: cookies). Balls of biscuit dough are pressed with a fork. This flattens and decorates them with a crosswise pattern.

A type of milk cap mushroom which is not edible. This mushroom is not found in Finland, but it may be useful to know what it is if you are Finnish, travelling elsewhere.
