A name for the banana prawn, a yellowish-beige translucent king prawn with no obvious spots or bands, fished in the waters of tropical northern Australia. There are two types, white, with white legs and redleg with red legs. They are found around 25 cm (9½") long. The flesh is sweet and quite soft.
White rice may refer to husked rice with the bran removed, polished grains. In the West this would predominantly refer to long-grain rice while in South East Asia it would generally mean short-grain, sticky rice. It may also refer to rice plainly boiled with no additives or flavourings.
A name for school prawns. Other prawns may be sold under the name of school prawns, in particular bay prawns and Endeavour prawns. However, they are most commonly Metapenaeus macleayi, which is translucent (looking grey when heaped up in the market) with green or brown speckling. They are usually around 8 cm (3") in total body length. They are fished in sandy bottoms near river mouths.
White Rose is a waxy, American potato. Joel Robuchon's potato is the B15. Translated from the French, this means a small, yellow-skinned potato with dark yellow waxy flesh.

The white sea bass of Californian waters is no relative of the sea bass of the eastern Atlantic but is a croaker or drum fish. The body of the white sea bass is elongate, and somewhat compressed. The head is pointed and slightly compressed. The mouth is large, with a row of small teeth in the roof, while the lower jaw is slightly projected. The color is bluish to gray above, with dark speckling, becoming silver below. The white sea bass is closely related to the California corbina, but is the only California member of the croaker family to exceed 20 pounds in weight. White seabass are the largest members of the croaker family on the U. S. Pacific coast, reaching a maximum recorded length of 1.5 m and 41 kg and twenty years in age.
