A variety of eating apple found in 1948 by Mr HC Selby at Walpole St Peter near Wisbech in Cambridgeshire. It is medium-sized and golden yellow largely flushed blushed with crimson. This mid-season variety is harvested from mid- to late-September in South-East England and does not have good storage properties. Picked early it is crisp and bright, but it goes soft if left on the tree.

A short, thick-bodied marine fish up to 25 cm (10 inches) long. It is found in the North Atlantic. It has an orange-red skin and delicately flavoured white flesh.
A name for the spanner crab, a bright orange or brick-red crab, so-named because it has claws which look remarkably like spanners. Like many things in Australia, what you see is what you get. It has shorter hind legs than other crabs and is found around the upper half of Australia. Mainly males are sold as they grow to a greater size than the females and are more likely to reach beyond the size restrictions. The sofrt white flesh is quite different in flavour from that of other crabs.
A fish of the grouper family which is red with pink and orange spots. It is prized in Chinese cooking.
