A large, red, old-fashioned early tomato excellent for slicing, from a compact indeterminate plant. Received by Johnny's in the United States from a customer in Ohio, and christened German by a neighbour.

A variety of garlic for autumn (US: fall) planting. It can be lifted in early summer, dried and eaten up until December.
