Graue Renette von Zabergäu apple

A name for Zabergäu Renette, a variety of green russeted eating apple flushed with red thought to have been known before 1885 at Hausen on Zaber near Württemburg but thought by others to be the same as Reinette Parmentier. This late-season variety is harvested from mid-October in South-East England and is at is best from December to March.
