χασάπης(chasápis)

/hah-SAH-pees/
[Greek]

Butcher. When I lived in Greece, the guys used to enjoy asking me "Eh, Suzy. What is the name for hasapis in English." Dutifully I would respond "Butcher", at which they would all collapse with mirth, as there is a remote likeness between 'butcher' and 'poutsa', one of the endless numbner of words the Greeks have for the male organ.
