A pancake mixture of very fine, phyllo-like pastry filled with lean minced (US: ground) mutton or sometimes fish, onions, spices and mint, to which an egg is added before frying. They can also be stuffed with spiced fish such as tuna. The Moroccan version is called braewat. It is often served with harissa.
