A spherical mould which is lined with ice cream of one flavour, and has a rich filling of another flavour. Each layer is hardened before the next is added. The filling is generally made with eggs and cream flavoured with various fruits, liqueurs or candied fruits. It is also a type of rice and a meatball served with chilli sauce.
