Allgäuer Bergkäse

A drum of mild, hard, supple cheese made with cow's milk, similar to Swiss Emmental. It has a waxy, yellow paste with many holes and is produced in the mountain pastures of Allgäu in southern Bavaria. It may be found weighing 98 kg (220 lb). (PDO).
